Copyright & DMCA Policy
ZEP360® PLATFORM
- Effective Date:
- 18 December 2025
- Last Updated:
- 18 December 2025
Codezep Technologies Private Limited (“Codezep,” “we,” “us”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the users of the ZEP360® platform (the “Platform”) to do the same.
In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”), the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India), and the Copyright Act, 1957 (India), Codezep will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the ZEP360® service that are reported to our Designated Copyright Agent identified below.
Policy statement
It is Codezep’s policy to:
- Block access to or remove material that it believes in good faith to be copyrighted material that has been illegally copied and distributed by any of our users.
- Remove and discontinue service to "repeat infringers."
Note to Construction Professionals: We understand that construction projects involve complex ownership of architectural drawings, CAD files, and BIM models. Codezep acts solely as a passive intermediary for the storage of this data. We do not adjudicate disputes over who "owns" a specific design; we strictly follow the notice-and-takedown procedures outlined below.
Reporting copyright infringement (DMCA notice)
If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that any material uploaded to ZEP360® infringes your copyrights, please submit a Notice of Alleged Infringement to our Designated Agent.
Your Notice must include ALL of the following information (as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) and Indian Law):
- Identification of the Copyrighted Work: A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (e.g., "The architectural floor plans for the 'Skyline Project' created on [Date]"). If multiple works are involved, please provide a representative list.
- Identification of the Infringing Material: A description of where the material is located on our Platform.
- Requirement: You must provide the exact URL or Project ID where the infringing content is hosted. General descriptions like "Look in User X's account" are not sufficient.
- Your Contact Information: Your address, telephone number, and email address.
- Good Faith Statement: A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Example: "I have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
- Accuracy Statement: A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
- Signature: Your physical or electronic signature (e.g., typing your full name).
Counter-notification (restoring content)
If your content was removed due to a DMCA Notice and you believe this was a mistake (e.g., you actually own the blueprints or have a license to use them), you may send a Counter-Notification.
Your Counter-Notification must include:
- Identification of Material: The URL or ID of the content that was removed.
- Statement of Consent: A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your Contact Information: Your name, address, phone number, and email.
- Jurisdiction Consent: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in Ernakulam, Kerala (and the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, if in the USA), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification.
- Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.
Effect of Counter-Notice: If we receive a valid Counter-Notification, we may restore the removed material in 10 to 14 business days, unless the original complaining party notifies us that they have filed a court action to restrain you from infringing the material.
Repeat infringer policy
Codezep does not tolerate serial abuse of intellectual property rights.
- "Repeat Infringer" Definition: Any user who has received two (2) or more valid DMCA warnings or whose content has been removed from the Platform twice due to infringement claims.
- Consequence: We will strictly terminate the accounts of Repeat Infringers.
- No Refund: If your account is terminated for copyright violation, you forfeit any prepaid subscription fees.

Warning regarding misrepresentation
Please be aware that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) and applicable Indian laws, you may be liable for significant damages (including costs and attorneys' fees) if you knowingly verify that material or activity is infringing when it is not.
If you are unsure whether the material available online infringes your copyright, we suggest that you contact an attorney before sending us a Notice.
